  1. Hey crew – – you all need to sign waivers for the Leukemia event…..

  2. Good morning.  The wind shifted overnight to ENE and in Matunuck blowing a nice 12 knots at 6:30.    I am bringing the famous epiphany sandwichs (and PB&J for Sarah). Don’t forget water and sunscreen.

We are assigned to the 3rd spinnaker class.  The scratch sheet now has photos of our class flags. We are in the 8th class to start.

We placed 12/15.   On corrected time we were 95 seconds behind Spirit )9th) and 7:50 behind 3rd (Samba).  It was a 12.6nm race that we finished in 3:12:35.    All the boats that went “left” at the start (we did) finished behind us,  so we probably should have stuck with the bulk of the fleet and went towards the Portsmouth shore.  We did a great kite set and did well on the short and only downwind leg.    It really became a crap shoot at the north end of Jamestown on where the stopped.
